Hypnosis has been scientifically proven to be a safe, natural and effective way to lose weight.  Researchers have found that those who used hypnosis lost significantly more weight than those who did not – and, more importantly, they kept it off years later.  Consider these published reports:

In a study of 60 females at least 20% overweight, Hypnosis was Over 30 Times more Effective for Weight Loss than the control group.  The hypnosis group averaged a 17 lb. weight loss while the control group averaged only a 0.5 lb. loss.

And in another study of 109 people who completed behavioral modification for weight loss both with and without hypnosis over a nine week period, follow-ups at 8 month and 2 year intervals showed that the hypnosis subjects continued to lose significant weight while the others showed little further change.

In an analysis of 18 studies comparing cognitive behavioral therapy both with and without the addition of hypnosis, those who received hypnosis lost more weight than 90% of those who did not.  And they maintained the weight loss two years after the treatment ended.

And in an analysis of five weight loss studies, all five indicated that hypnosis can more than double the effects of traditional weight loss approaches.  (University of Connecticut, Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology, 1996)

In yet another study cited in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology  it was reported that the benefits of hypnosis actually increase over time.

If you are serious about losing weight, then shifting your mental relationship with food will be the key to fast and long lasting success. This is why weight loss clients do significantly better than those who attempt to lose weight on their own. Willpower works only temporarily, but cannot maintain it’s strength. Because willpower is nothing more than resistance, it does nothing to alleviate the compelling force – desire. Like a rubber band that has been stretched away from something, eventually it snaps back – in force – straight back the opposite direction toward the resisted (mmmmm donut) object. Hypnosis removes the old mental patterns so that healthy eating habits are installed abad resistance (or willpower) is unnecessary.
